CONGRATULATIONS ... to our five newly ordained priests for the Archdiocese including two who are know to us here at St. Frances --- Father Kareem Smith, nephew of Father Grace, and Father Louis Masi, who is a local "boy" ... we hope to have Father Smith return to celebrate Mass here at St. Frances in the near future ... also, the Cardinal reminds us of the tremendous shortage of priests for the Archdiocese and asks our families to speak about, to promote and to pray about vocations in their own families ... the future of our many parishes does not look good, mergers are still happening and liturgical services are being curtailed in many parishes ... we are blessed with our clergy personnel here but that could change ... pray, encourage vocations in your families and thank a priest!
